Your Partner for Transport, Trucking & Warehousing

We are Trippaers Transport!

Our deep-rooted family values seamlessly tie in with our gaze firmly fixed on growth and the future. In doing so, we not only unreservedly opt for modern and sustainable materials, we also embrace personal development. Which translates into career development opportunities for our team of keen and seasoned staff. Our people are given the leeway to make considered decisions on a self-reliant basis, whilst having appropriate support available if they need it. This is how we unburden our customers every single day.

Trippaers Transport is a medium-sized family-run haulage company, small enough to remain personal and big enough to be adaptable.

We are centrally located in the heart of the Maas-Rhine Euregio right next to the Genk Port Railway Terminal and the E313 and E314 motorways.

More about us

Jorg Trippaers

After spending an educational time as a trainee over at fellow haulier Ewals Cargo Care bv where he was in charge of various warehouse projects in Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK, joining the Trippaers Transport Genk nv family business in 2008 was the logical next step for Jorg Trippaers.

This marked the start of Trippaers2.0, with the company switching from serving strictly as a Just In Time Automotive Trucking partner to becoming a haulier operating in a variety of different sectors, specialising in SMEs.

From 2010 forward, Pierre Trippaers took more of a back seat, with Jorg taking over the company’s general management.

Away from his day-to-day job in Transport, Trucking and Warehousing, Jorg was and continues to remain very involved in various network associations such as Jong Voka Limburg where he is the local vice-chairman, along with various directorships at VOKA, Ronde Tafel Genk, forty-one Genk and Aristoteles Business Club.

Small enough to be personal, big enough to be flexible... and responsable!
by Stefan Vanluyten 02 May, 2023
Small enough to be personal, big enough to be flexible! Small enough to be personal We are and remain a family business where all employees know each other, can get in touch with each other and who always look for (and find!) solutions for any kind of problems encountered. This approach works, considering the fact that the average driver has been with us for 8 years and around 50% of our drivers have been with Trippaers for more than 10 years. The driver with the highest number of working years on the clock is Yavuz, who will have been with us for 25 years in 2023. Congratulations, Yavuz! We take the same solution-driven approach to our customers, consistently endeavouring to seek out the best transport solution for them. If the customer so wishes, he can simply send us the transport orders. But we also make a lot of calls to discuss transport orders over the phone, find the right transport modes or to pass on updates. We place a premium on the personal touch. Big enough to be flexible We have a sufficiently large and varied fleet to act in response to the customer’s wishes. In practical terms, this means that a customer can request 1 transport run on day one and 15 transport runs the next, for instance. We always find a solution. We are equally flexible in terms of the types of rolling stock we are able to commit: we have standard tractors, but should a customer require more space (interior height up to 3 metres), we are able to assign mega tractors or even (mega) plateau trailers. In addition, we also have lightweight trucks that enable us to ship more weight and we even have trucks fitted with a compressor and/or PTO Hydraulics that allow us to blow or tip bulk shipments into silos. For our trailer fleet too, we have standard trailers, which may or may not be fitted with a coil duct or tailboard, as well as mega trailers, container chassis, tipping trailers or tipping/rotor chassis. Some customers one day require a tractor with a chassis and a tractor with a trailer the next. Not a problem for us! If the customer prefers us to drive their trailers/chassis, we are happy to do so. In that case, our services are referred to as Trucking instead of Transport.

For the past 36 years, we have been working day and night to meet the logistical challenges of our customers. However, the trust our customers place in us is being tested by the challenging economic background. The unprecedented rise in fuel and equipment prices, along with the wage indexations are forcing us to raise our prices in turn. However, we are not leaving customers, partners and employees out in the cold. If anything, we are taking a proactive, supportive approach. We are continuing to invest in people and resources, so that 2023 does not turn into a disastrous year but a year full of opportunities. “Our organisational structure is also of benefit in these times of crisis, as we are small enough to provide personal support and big enough to adapt in response to opportunities.” Jorg Trippaers

It’s party time at Trippaers Transport as we look back on 35 great years of growth. Actually, it is 35 years plus 1, as last year corona unfortunately prevented us from celebrating. All the more reason to take a backward glance at the past three and a half decades and to take a look ahead at what the future has in store.
