The first quarter of 2025 has already passed and we are excited to share the latest developments at Trippaers Transport. This quarter has been all about growth, innovation, sustainability and flexibility. In this newsletter, you will find our key updates.


New fleet expansion

Trippaers Transport Genk | Belgium on the road to a CO₂-free future!

 

We are proud to announce that Trippaers Transport has taken an important step towards sustainable mobility. After thorough research and comparing different truck brands, we have chosen our very first electric truck: the MAN, from MAN Truck & Bus nv (Belgium).


This marks not only our first electric truck, but also the first MAN truck in our fleet in nearly 40 years of operation! This decision aligns perfectly with our vision of making a positive environmental impact and contributing to a CO₂-free future.


The delivery of this e-truck is scheduled for Q3. We look forward to keeping you updated on further developments and our first experiences. The truck will be deployed for a customer with whom we have had a collaborative partnership for many years.

 


Expansion of our multi-chassis and tank chassis


To improve and expand our services, we have added several additional multi-container chassis to our fleet. This allows us to respond to the increasing demand expected with the opening of Port of Limburg. Additionally, we have acquired tank containers and tank chassis to better serve our customers.


Digitalization and efficiency

New Transport Management System (TMS)

We have invested in a new digital planning system that allows us to plan routes more efficiently and provide real-time updates to our customers. This helps minimize waiting times and optimize our services.

 

The Transport Management System from Qargo and Trimble offers numerous benefits for both us and our customers:

  • Improved route optimization, reducing fuel consumption and CO₂-emissions.
  • Real-time tracking and monitoring of shipments for greater transparency.
  • More efficient communication between planners and drivers.
  • Automation of administrative tasks, saving time and costs while improving our service quality.

Expansion of warehousing & crossdocking

In early 2025, we opened our second external warehouse, bringing our total storage space to nearly 5000 m². This allows us to better meet the growing demand from our customers for professional warehousing and crossdocking services. Trippaers Transport offers indoor and outdoor storage, as well as efficient crossdocking services.

We expect this branch of our services to continue growing throughout 2025, which is why we are committed to investing in additional capacity and optimization.
